A Compilation by Claudia Hardi aka F. Sigorski

1066 & All That - the Mallory Neely House is a personal experimental workspace. The mode of associative attention are annotations, footnotes and excerpts out of reading material of the news which is relevant to us, whether it is urgent or remote. A versatile info sphere resulting from the practice of perpetually scanning the horizon for cultural references - be it an internet travelogue, a collection, a storage space.

Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk

Haunted Chuck Palahniuk

Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. Haunted is a novel made up of twenty-three horrifying, hilarious, and stomach-churning stories. They’re told by people who have answered an ad for a writer’s retreat and unwittingly joined a “Survivor”-like scenario where the host withholds heat, power, and food. As the storytellers grow more desperate, their tales become more extreme, and they ruthlessly plot to make themselves the hero of the reality show that will surely be made from their plight. This is one of the most disturbing and outrageous books you’ll ever read, one that could only come from the mind of Chuck Palahniuk.

Two months later, Yorick arrives in Washington, D.C. and finds his mother, Representative Brown. The new President assigns Agent 355 to escort Yorick to Boston, the last known location of the geneticist Dr. Mann. They hope that Mann can study Yorick, discover the reasons behind Yorick's survival, and help repopulate the world. Three days later, Alter Tse'elon, new chief of the general staff for Israel, is informed of Yorick's existence. Israeli soldiers destroy Dr. Mann's lab, forcing her, 355 and Yorick to travel to California to her backup lab.
